An ultimate war is currently taking place in all four parts of Kurdistan. At the same time, the repression against Kurds in Germany continues to increase.
In Kassel, too, the revolution in Rojava is a role model for many internationalists. Currently, Rojava, as well as the Bakur regions, Basur and Rojhilat are massively threatened by Turkey's war of aggression. The war is being supported by the arms industry from Kassel in particular. In Turkey, too, action against the oppressed is becoming more and more intense. The exit from the Istanbul Conference is just one example.
#DEFEND KURDISTAN is an international initiative, those in June 2021 was launched. The declared aim is an immediate end to all Turkish attacks on Kurdistan, as well as a withdrawal of all Turkish troops and Islamist mercenaries. Further goals of the campaign are:
– A stop to the destruction and exploitation of nature in Kurdistan
– Support for the self-organization of women * organizations in Kurdistan
– Stop the war of aggression and ethnic cleansing in Kurdistan
– Prevent international and regional forces from supporting the Kurdish genocide
– Support of all Kurdish structures, Institutions and fighting units, who oppose the Turkish occupation
– No Neo-Ottoman occupation project by Erdogan in the Middle East
