In Tanger, Algiers or Tunis even the cats sit in the harbor and look to the other side. Everyone wants to go there. Most dream of it... The young people, who manage to land in Europe, try everything, so as not to return empty-handed. illegality, Crime and the constant fear of being deported are part of their everyday life.

About Riadh Ben Ammar
Riadh Ben Ammar came to Germany from Tunisia in the early 2000s. He was housed in a refugee camp in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for a long time, he now lives between Tunisia and Germany and is one of the founders of Afrique-Europe-Interact. Riadh has been putting on plays for many years. His first piece “Hurria!” was about the Arab Spring in Tunisia and what this has to do with the demand for freedom of movement – ​​several plays have been added in the meantime – most recently the play “The Trap”.
