The workshop (dys)placed, will deliberate on the multiple and cascading destructions that mark the contemporary moment, which have brought about deep feelings of loss, disconnection and displacement – particularly among people from marginalised communities. Through interactive discussions and activities, the workshop will raise questions about home and belonging; and explore the multiple ways in which we can collectively (إعادة)envision and (إعادة)build connections and community, nurture care, and foster belonging amid the bounds of dislocating change(الصورة) and time(الصورة).
The workshop will take place in English, and in two parts: on Friday, يوليو 26, from 17h to 19h, and on Sunday, يوليو 28, from 11h to 15h at the Queer Center Kassel, wich is located at Mauerstraße 11, 5th floor.
