Am 6. April 2006 became Halit Yozgat in Kassel and on 02. June 2019 Walter Lübcke shot dead in Wolfhagen. Although 13 Years in between these murders are more united than they are apart. Both were murdered by neo-Nazis for racist motives. The networks of their killers are the same, the underlying worldview and the social conditions in which these murders could happen too. If Walter Lübcke were still alive, if the NSU complex had been completely cleared up?
Together with Sonja Brasch from NSU Watch Hessen At this event we want to talk about the continuities of right-wing violence in Northern Hesse and also look at the role of security apparatuses such as the police and the protection of the constitution. What can we learn from recent history for the future? What questions are still open? What remains to be done?
