18:00 - 20:00
At home
International solidarity and work have already played an important role in the children's friends in the Weimar Republic in the form of international children's tent camps. Even if the type and form of international work has changed a lot since then, the starting point remains the same; Solidarity and the struggle for a better world can only be international. Our international history is diverse; international training seminars, Solidarity campaigns for Cuba or Kurdistan, Youth exchanges and of course international camps.
Because the falcon's international work is diverse, we want to clarify with many exciting anecdotes, what's behind abbreviations like IFM-SEI, IUCY or IB is in place. Who are our sister organizations and what do we do with them? How does the work look in practice?? In addition to practice, we want to try to clarify, why we do international work. There will be plenty of room for questions and discussions.
Oliver Pohl was a consultant for international affairs on the federal board of falcons and was active at the falcons in Kassel.
