Kassel wants to 2030 become climate neutral. In addition to the Climate Protection Council, who suggests measures to political decision-makers to achieve the climate goals, There are a multitude of actors within urban society, Initiatives and associations, who develop and advance concrete proposals. The UmweltHaus also supports this process at various points, a contribution to this is the Event series “Kassel Worth Living”.

With the series of events we want - as in recent years - to show ways and concepts for increasing the quality of life in Kassel and also address controversial situations within our city.

At the lectureHow do we heat our existing buildings? climate-neutral and cheap?” am 05.03.2024 Peter Ritter from the German Society for Solar Energy will give an overview of cost-effective options for climate-neutral heat supply in Kassel. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss.
