Kassel is still the location of the oil- and gas company Wintershall Dea. The exhibition follows its supply chain to Argentina in the “Vaca Muerta” region (dt. “Tote Kuh”). There, Wintershall operates fracking – the method, with which natural gas is blasted out of the ground. People in Vaca Muerta talk about the destructive influence, takes fracking on their lives and changes it. What it means, when a region is declared a “Sacrifice Zone”.. And from organized resistance, who defends himself against the exploitation of land and life. The exploitation, which seems inseparable from that, what is called “progress” in Europe.
