Wir bewegen uns zwischen Auswirkungen der Klimakrise, scheinbar selbstverständlichem Kapitalismus und einem wütenden Patriarchat mit immer lauteren Rassismen. Viele, die sich für andere Zukünfte einsetzen, sind ob der gleichzeitigen Krisen erschöpft und brennen aus.
Wie er_finden wir von hier aus Wege zu einer wohlwollenden und nachhaltigen Gesellschaft? Wie kommen wir dahin ohne abzustumpfen und selbst über vieles hinweg zu trampeln oder zu rollen?

Das Bild zeigt einen Scan verschiedener grüner Stoffe. Unten rechts ist ein fellartiger Stoff dessen Flor sich in Wirbel und Wellen legt. Im oberen Bildbereich sind mehrere Lagen Organza und Tüll, die verschieden fein gewebt sind. Teilweise ist jeder Faden genau zu erkennen. An anderen Stellen ist das Bild unscharf und verschwimmt zu sanften grünen Farbverläufen.

From July 7 至 28, Tristan Marie Trotz will be exhibiting at the Queer Center Kassel.
We are moving between the effects of the climate crisis, seemingly normal capitalism and a raging patriarchy with increasingly loud racism. Many who are committed to different futures are exhausted by the simultaneous crises and are burning out.
How do we find ways from here to a tender and sustainable society? How do we get there without becoming dull and trampling or rolling over many things ourselves?
The exhibition It’s a long way. Bring soft shoes. invites us to dream and be radically tender with each other.
