Book Launch Michael Wengraf institutionalization of reason. Where, when and how the "Western" paradigm of rationality prevailed? The "institutionalization of reason" goes from a Marxist perspective to the search for answers. It is not the "reason" absolutely object, but a special form, which had to be established against other types of rationality. The means to this was the genuinely European university as in itself 12. and 13. jh. emerged. Genesis of Western rationality and University penetrate each other dialectically.
